The weld penetration detection technology is based on Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). When the optical path difference between the light signal returned from the welding optical path and the reference light signal falls within the coherence length of the light source, interference occurs. This allows the system to extract and image light signals containing weld penetration information.It provides real-time, high-resolution, non-invasive tomographic measurement of the internal structure of the material being tested. With its high precision and strong repeatability, the penetration depth detection technology enables faster, more accurate, and more efficient welding, improves yield, and ensures better control of welding results.
